Pumpkin Spice Latte Plushie

Pumpkin Spice Latte Plushie

Hi everybody! I'm posting this at this time because I'm home sick. Its one of those type of colds that your not deathly ill, but your not well enough to do much.

First off, I'm sorry for the crappy pictures. I made them black and white because I thought they looked better that way, but it didn't really help.  I thought that they looked better when I took them, and obviously I can't retake them as I already sewed it up.

Everybody is obsessing over pumpkin spice lattes right now. I haven't been lucky enough to try one yet, but I'm hoping to try one this weekend? I thought that I would make a plushie version of one in the meantime!

The pattern is here. It's really bad quality because my scanner wasn't working, so if you need any help with it, please let me know!

You will need:
White felt
Orange felt
Brown felt
White thread
Orange thread
Orange glitter glue (optional)

1) Cut out the pieces according to the pattern
2) Sew the orange heart to the white strip
3) Sew the white strip around the orange circle at the top
Halfway through! You're doing great.

4) Sew the white circle at the bottom. Start sewing up the back, and as your sewing, stuff it up. Finish sewing your cup up.
5) Make the whipped cream by sewing all of the points together. Attach to the top of the cup.
6) Make the cinnamon piece by folding the edges of the brown rectangle into the middle and sewing up. Sew under the whipped cream, and if you want you can add some dots of glitter glue onto the top.

Also, if your looking for a real recipe, there is a great one here from Pretty Little Details.

I hope you liked this tutorial ♥

:: Belle Hibou Brooches ::

A while ago, I won a giveaway from Scathingly Brilliant for Belle Hibou. Yay!

Anyway, my order came today. The first thing that I noticed was the cute pink bag that it was sent in. Also, they were kept in a sweet little box with some padding so that they arrived in mint condition.

I am also very happy with the brooches! They are a perfect size, and although you may not be able to see it in the photo, the colors are very bright and vibrant.

Even though I didn't pay for these because I won a giveaway, I think that they would definitely be worth your money!
Again, find the shop here.

Have a great day everybody!

:: Homemade Voice Tea ::

Hello everybody! Sorry for a the sub-par posts lately, I've been absolutely exhausted lately so I'm going to keep tiding you over with little posts like these until I regain my energy.

Anyways, if you know me, you probably know that I sing ALL THE TIME. (Before we start, I'm going to tell you that I'm not the best singer in the world. I'm not trying to say that I am, I just sing all the time and have fun with it!) All of this singing is starting to catch up to my voice. I've heard that honey, lemon and ginger are all good for your voice. So I decided to combine them all together into one tea that is amazing for your voice! And it tastes good, too.

You Will Need:
A small slice of lemon
A few pieces of ginger
About a teaspoon of honey
A mug of your choice full of boiled water
A way to steep your tea (such as an infuser)

1) Squeeze the juice from your lemon into your mug of water.
2) Toss your lemon slice and ginger into your infuser and steep for about six minutes.
3) Take out your infuser, put in your honey and stir.

I usually make this in a rush in the morning, so to make this go faster just put your honey spoon in the mug while it steeps and stir it around when your done. Also, just steep it for as long as you have. Pour it in a travel mug and your good to go! (I just remembered about the tea from the photo I took. It actually tastes really good cold, just to let you know!)

By the way, I have an audition soon and I was wondering of you guys have any favorite monologues from musicals. Please let me know!

Sorry for rambling so much, I hope you enjoy your tea if you make it.

:: Q + A Post ::

A huge thank you to all of my lovely readers who asked me questions. I love hearing from you guys!
So, here they are.

What makes you happy?
Well, for me, the best way to de-stress after a long day includes listening to music and singing along (right now to the Wicked soundtrack), taking a warm bubble bath and lighting a scented candle, and then watching an episode of Doctor Who and drinking tea.
What are your favorite colors?
 Right now I really like warm, fall like colors.
What's your style like?
It depends on the day, sometimes its more girly then others. But I almost always wear black leggings and combat boots.
What kind of music do you like to listen to?
I like Lights, Neon Trees, and Taylor Swift. But I also just downloaded the Wicked soundtrack, and I've got it constantly stuck in my head!
Where do you get your inspiration?
From all over the place! Theres tons of things that inspire me, such as movies, tv shows, and other peoples blogs. But I can always count on music to inspire me, no matter what type. Music always has a huge emotional effect on me, it basically rips my heart out and chops it into little bite sized pieces. Is that normal?
Do you like rain?
I love rain!
Short boots or high boots (knee high)?
 Hmm, I guess high, but I prefer mid-length, like combat boots.
Explain your blog name + URL?
My blog name actually used to be Tabby Cat, and a changed it a few times. I'm more happy with Perfect Imperfections.
My url I made when I first started this blog. I gues because I like cats and crafts and critters? I don't know, I want to change it. :/
One favorite color?
 Probably mint.
What languages do you know?
 I'm learning French, I know a teeny-tiny bit.

I hope you liked this!

:: Sailor Jupiter Bow ::

I'm so sorry guys! I haven't posted a real tutorial in ages. I'm not even sure it this is a real tutorial.
Anyways, in the last Sailor Moon, they introduced sailor Jupiter, my favorite!
I just had to make a bow for her to continue on with my series.

1) Gather your materials. You will need: a rectangle of pink felt with rounded edges, 2 tails of pink felt, a little strip of pink felt, a bow of green felt, a pink elastic, pink thread, a needle, and scissors.
2) Use the elastic band to turn the rectangle into a bow.
 3) Sew the felt band over the elastic band.
4) Sew the tails onto the bow.
 5) Sew the heart into the center of the bow. Enjoy!

I found the Sailor Mercury transparent here.

:: OOTD ::

//Cardigan-H&M//Scarf-Garage//Shirt-Joefresh//Leggings-Old Navy//

I've been super tired this week, so I thought I'd just make a quick little outfit post. The reason I'm so tired is because this is my first week back at school!
This outfit is nothing fancy, just something I like to wear on a Friday
I picked this cardigan up at H&M about a week ago, and I really like it. Its funny, when I saw one of my friends at lunch today, we were wearing the same sweater!
Sorry, I didn't find any links, like I said before, I'm tired.

Also, if I get six more questions (or more!), I'll be making a questions and answers post. Go a head, ask me anything! I just won't answer anything to personal, but feel free to ask more then one question! I love hearing from you guys, its what keeps this blog running.

Have a great weekend!

:: August Favorites ::

Hello everybody!

September is my favorite month. Sure, I have to go back to school, but I also get to wear sweaters and combat boots, and drink my favorite teas! Plus, my birthday is also in September.
I usually don't like making a post 2 days in a row because the first post doesn't get the attention that I would like it to, but I'm making this today because I'm going back to school tomorrow.

 My favorite posts this month were:

My Beauty favorites are:
1)Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express mascara. I've actually been using this for a while, and its almost time for me to get some new mascara, but this stuff really gives my eyelashes a LOT of volume with only 2 coats!
2) Alamay eyeshadow. I can't remember what color this is in because I've also been using it for a while, but its a really good neutral eyeshadow.
3) The Body Shop Tea Tree skin clearing Facial wash. This is a really good facial wash, and I will definitely be repurchasing it when it runs out!
4) Annabelle Lipsies Fruity Lip Balm in Watermelon. I wasn't sure what to expect from it, but it was on sale for only $3, so I thought I'd give it a try. I REALLY like it. Its basically just like a Babylips, but in my opinion, it smell better because I really like watermelon scents. Its definitely worth the $3 I paid for it!

Sorry, you can't really read my list of favorite songs. They are:
1) Defying Gravity by Kristen Chenoweth and Indina Menzel from Wicked (original broadway cast recording)
2) Living in Another World by Neon Trees from Pop Psychology
3) Portal by Lights from Little Machines
4) Summer Vibe by Walk off the Earth from R.E.V.O
My favorite teas are:
1) David's Tea Bravissimo
2) Stash Chamomile

My favorite songs and my favorite tea might not seem related, but they are. I'm practicing Defying Gravity for an audition, and I'm kind of losing my voice (I could probably stop practicing so much, but its so fun, I can't help myself!). I started drinking this chamomile with honey, and it really helps. The Bravissimo would probably help if I added honey, too, but I don't want to ruin the taste!

Speaking of my audition, I need a monolouge, too. I should have found one ages ago, but I didn't. Do any of you have a favorite monologue? I want to do one from Wicked, but if you have any good ones, please let me know!

Sorry for ranting so much in this post.

I hope you had a great August, and that you have a great September!
