{Make} Lucky Cat Magnets

Hello Lovelies!
How long has it been since I posted a DIY? I was inspired by this necklace from Tea and Craft to make something related to Lucky Cats. They're so cute! I don't know a lot about them, though, so if any of you do I would love to learn some more.
This is a super easy and quick DIY, and you only need a few materials.
The pattern is here, sorry it's messy. Oh, and resize it to any size you want!

You will need:
♥ White felt
♥ Pink and purple felt
♥ Matching thread
♥ A rhinestone or bead
♥ A magnet
♥ A hot glue gun

1. Cut out the pieces.
2. Embroider the face on with the thread colour of your choice.
3. Sew the ears and the collar on to match your face (if you want them to).
4. Hot glue the rhinestone or bead on like a bell.
5. Hot glue the magnet onto the back.
Enjoy!

If you do try and make one of these, I would love to see it! Leave a comment below or email me at perfectimperfectionsblog@outlook.com ♥

  5. This is so so cute Amy! The little banner is so colorful, and those cats are adorable! I would love a pattern, (if it's not too much trouble!)
Lucky Cat is also known as Maneki-Neko, basically a common Japanese fortune cat made into all sorts of things--beads, figurines, stuffed animals--and are believed to give good luck to their owner. :) ha ha, I only know this because my dad brings Maneki-Neko things for me from his Japan business trips from time to time :)

  7. I'm afraid anything that includes the word "hot glue gun" is a little outside of my realm of expertise, but these are so freaking cute!

    1. Hehe thank you so much! If you wanted you could totally use regular glue, it would just take longer to dry ♥

  25. These are so so so cute, Amy! <3 I once tried making similar ones (realistic cats) and the glue from the hot glue gun got all over my table and stuff haha. I've been wary ever since, but I'll break my personal rule just for these sweeties. :P
