Staying On Top Of Your Schedule

Looking at this title, you'd probably think that I'm in no way qualified to write it. I haven't been able to stick to my blogging schedule, after all. I'm even late on this post! I would, however, like to get better with staying in schedule. So I thought that I'd share with you some things that would help me when I am on schedule.
1. My Planner
I use my planner all of the time. It totally gives me the illusion of being productive! It's one of my favourite ways to stay organized, and it really works for me.

2. Apps
I have TONS of organization apps. I find though, that they really work for me! If you don't want to use an app, I would suggest to do lists. I love the feeling of crossing out something that you accomplished, weather it be on a screen or on paper.

3. Pretty materials
You're so much more likely to use something if you like the way it looks. One of my favourite things to do is to put lots of cute stickers on my planner pages. They seem like they wouldn't do much, but they always give me a little boost of motivation!

4. A positive attitude
I know, this sounds so cheesy. But it really does help! Motivation can go a long way. I know that the days I'm motivated, I get so much more done than I think I ever could.

How do you stay organized and on top of your schedule?
-Amy

  3. Lovely post.
Funny you should blog about this: I've been having some much homework lately that I spend 2 1/2-3 hours on homework nightly including studying. Plus dance which makes it tricky to handle!
I personally love my planner and I feel it helps me feel a lot more organized!
As for pretty supplies, I <3 papermate joy pens and post it notes!

  4. I use all of these things, except for the apps because I have an old phone that can't download most apps. Could you maybe do a separate post about the many organization apps that you use?

  6. I'm actually a hyper planner, so I would love to be less rigid about schedules. Ha! Everyone has to find their balance.

  8. Hi Amy! So sorry I haven't been here in a while! It's been SO busy and pretty stressful lately...I'm honestly always so tired.
Anyhow, love this post! You have great tips that I use often. I use calendar and reminder apps on my phone to notify me of things throughout the day, as I can be a little forgetful, but I'll never abandon good old pen + paper! I love using my planner, even though I don't have time to decorate it as much as I'd like anymore. I usually just stick with quick drawings. For supplies, I use black gel pels and tons of Post-its!
A positive attitude is so, so very important. Some days are super chaotic and it feels like you're practically drowning in work--trying to get rid of negative thoughts and striving to be as productive as possible helps!
I hope everything's been going fine with you! Have a lovely day! x

  10. I'm not one to stay on schedule a lot as well, and I find planners and organizational apps, while useful, do not work for me at all. I think a positive attitude and motivation/inspiration are key when it comes to staying on schedule. Good luck, and have a lovely day, Amy. <3
