I've always loved to have a relaxing morning off, and I've been trying out ways to have the best morning possible. I'm on my way to finding the perfect formula for a peaceful morning, so I thought that I'd share with you my top six tips.
1. Make yourself a delicious breakfast
Really, there's nothing better than the smell of breakfast cooking. If it's something other than my usual cereal and toast, a good breakfast can motivate me and help to start the day right. Lately, I've been loving this scone recipe.
I find that it's best if I don't spend a lot of time in front of a screen in the morning, and reading a book usually puts me in a good mood to start the day. For me, something about actually holding a book in my hands helps me to slow down.
3. Get some fresh air
Even opening a window can make a huge difference. I love to hear the birds chirping and hear the sounds of the city, and the refreshing feeling of a cool breeze on my face.
Meditating always puts me in a relaxed and balanced mood, and helps me be ready to take on the day. I've started using this app lately and I can honestly say that it has made such a huge positive difference in my mood!
5. Do something that you love
Doing something that you love helps you be in a good mood for the oncoming day. For me, this is usually dancing. Doing something that I love helps me to carry positive energy on throughout the day.
6. Do something creative
This also helps me to be relaxed and have a positive attitude for the rest of the day. The morning is a perfect time to be creative, and all of the ideas that you may have thought of while laying in bed the night before will be more fresh in your mind.
